Transgender dad Stefonknee Wolscht left wife, 7 kids to be a 6-year-old girl | Examiner.com

As Malay Mail Online discussed transgender rights on Dec. 14, one Toronto man is living his liberties in a very divergent pursuit of happiness. Canadian transgender dad Stefonknee Wolscht left his wife and 7 kids to be a 6-year-old girl. Stefonknee (pronounced "Stephanie") is 46 and was married for 23 years when he realized he was a she and a 6-year-old girl at that. Stefonknee Wolscht is transgender but also transage. Instead of transitioning to adult female, Wolscht says she just isn't ready to be a grownup right now. Wolscht says she can't deny she was married nor that she has children. But she's moved forward from all that away from her former life. Moving forward meant going back and regressing to the life of a 6-year-old girl, however.  Transgender dad Stefonknee Wolscht left wife, 7 kids to be a 6-year-old girl | Examiner.com

AMA drug ads ban: Nix consumer prescription drugs ads, cut Big Pharma costs, save patients from self-medicating

You've seen the ads for prescription drugs everywhere--you can't go online, watch TV, listen to the radio or open a magazine without seeing them. Do you ever wonder why Big Pharma would target the consumer with ads for prescription drugs that only doctors can dispense? The American Medical Association wonders that too. In fact, the AMA called for banning direct-to-consumer advertising for prescription drugs, reported the Associated Press on Nov. 18. The AMA drug ads ban urges legislation to nix consumer targeted prescription drugs ads to cut costs. AMA delegates at the group policy-making meeting in Atlanta voted to make the AMA drug ads ban official policy, to make prescription drugs more affordable. The AMA drug ads ban looks to check Big Pharma inflating costs on prescription drugs and medical devices and hopefully curtail patient demands for inappropriate treatment.  AMA drug ads ban: Nix consumer prescription drugs ads, cut Big Pharma costs | Examiner.com

ET Online said on Nov. 12 that that's what it looks like And if that's what happened, it exposes even more troubling issues about this secretive, dysfunctional family of "19 Kids and Counting." The Duggar plane (yes the family has a private plane, apparently, so much for the Biblical simple life) was spotted at an airport in Rockford, Illinois. This is near the faith-based rehab center where eldest son Josh Duggar is getting therapy for sex addiction. The plane is the same one that was seen dropping Duggar off back in late August. The Duggar plane was on the ground for several hours before heading back to the Duggar home in Springdale, Arkansas.Jim Bob Duggar busts Josh Duggar out of rehab in Duggar plane for Thanksgiving? | Examiner.com

With "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar in rehab for sexually molesting his sisters, attention turns to child sexual abuse prevention. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Usually, DV usually refers to physical abuse, but there other faces: sexually exploited children. Stats show that 1 child in 10 is sexually molested by age 18 said Darkness to Light. And 3 in 4 of those children were abused by someone they knew well in places they trust (home, relative's home, school, church). So the stereotypical stranger molesting in strange places is far less common.  Child sexual abuse: How child molesters like Josh Duggar groom victims | Examiner.com

FDA may crack down on e-cigs, regulate vape e-liquid flavors to lose kid appeal

The Food and Drug Administration admits it's pretty much clueless about electronic cigarette dangers. Nevertheless, the FDA may crack down on e-cigs and regulate vape e-liquid flavors to lose kid appeal. Fox 43 reported August 12 that smoke shop owners find FDA crackdowns problematic. Possible FDA e-cig regulations are prompted by concerns that kids are attracted to vaporizer electronic cigarettes because they use tasty e-liquid. The hookah and flavored tobacco crazes of a few years ago caused similar concern (despite hookah having no nicotine).   FDA may crack down on e-cigs, regulate vape e-liquid flavors to lose kid appeal - Grand Rapids News | Examiner.com
